2002 m3 diff.. Help!!!!!!!

How much fluid and whats the best kind???

Every smg shifts feels like its been hit with a hammer???? Is that bad????

BMW fluid is probably recommended. There is a special FM (friction modifier) version if your diff makes a grinding noise when doing sharp turns.

As for your problem it's highly unlikely that diff fluid will be the cause. Your other thread received a reply.

You've not provided very much info at all. Is that at full throttle? SMG shifts a full throttle are quite brutal particularly in S5, S6 etc.

Tried an SMG reset?

Well slow sharp turn the rear sound like its grinding.. Left and right.. And from a stop point lite acceration shift from 1st to 2nd gear i hear a loud noise from the rear...
