Use your discretion.

Learn your car with the DSC on, you will find the smoother you drive the less it will interfere. Then search out the MDM (M Dynamic Mode) mod, it has the effect of reducing DSC intrusion by 50%. It is my preferred street mode. Have fun and you will soon go faster that you thought you could.

....is this a serious question?

If you have extensive track history, go DSC OFF. If you have to ask this question, DSC ON and take the lines slowly and learn the lines the first day.

Ask your instructor. He/she is there in the car with you, on a specific track and has carefully observed your driving.

No-one here has that insight.

if it your first time go with it on till you comfortable, if you feel after that its slowing you down then go with it off.

Re: DSC on or off?

Good answers so far, I had mine on till it got in the way. You have to watch it acellerating out of courners as the back end will try and come around on you. Im running NT01's 275 35 on 18 apex wheels, drive there on Michelin ss, then put them on at the track, stick like crazy and are reasonable.
Which track(s) are you running at?

Gingerman, it was my second time to this track. I turned it off half way through the day. The DSC was getting in the way, I liked it off much better.

Thanks!
