You mentioned your car had 17's before you switched them to 18's. That's one clue you may have the sport package. The others are a 3 spoke steering wheel with round center. The seats are different and adjustable behind your knees. My car is a base 323i with premium package which is the leather interior and power seats not pleather with manual seats.

May want to do some reading. Looks like you don't know much about your own car.

I can only assume you're resetting it between tests? How many miles and what sort of driving are you getting the figures from?

Myself, I avg 27 with a 45 min commute to work which is 50% hills, 50% flat, mostly 60 mph. Highway it jumps up around 32-33 or so, though I have yet to give a nice long highway drive worth a few tanks.

That I am not sure but you have the sport and premium packages. Do a tune up plugs air filter oil change. And when you aren't sure if the mpg's are accurate reset them with by holding the button on the end of the directional lever. Four ---- will show up and then it will start with calculating your economy.

Re: Whats your miles per gallon??

2001 325 Ci. 5 speed. 121k miles. Stock with muffler delete and CAI.

Average city/highway: 18-19 mpg.
Highway only: 26

I used to not trust the obc, but after 6-8 times checking it manually at fill up and it being exactly the same, I just use it.

Whats your miles per gallon??

I am averaging 29.3mpg over the last 55 days on my 80 mile, one way, commute. I drive 95% highway miles. That's calculating it manually, my trip computer is about 4% more optimistic...
