Re: E36 M3 Euro Twin Turbo

Mert, did you try to put 305/30R19 tires on the M3 E46?
I'm looking to increse tire size...

Cipri,

My E46 M3 runs on 315-30-18 Hoosiers.

Had to work on fenders.

Dont bother with 19" wheels.

Cipri,

there is no need to go to 315.

305 will be more than enough if you set the car perfectly. Wider does not mean more traction.

Took a 10 day vacation.

Back to real life, and keep on working on E36 M3 Euro TT and XM3 TT

E36 M3 Euro cut out fabrication, welding is finished.
Twin 3" straight aluminium pipes go into a muffler, and right before the muffler cut outs are installed.

Custom made S50 B32 camshafts arrived, could not install them as they required different shims. We will get new shims made, heat treated.
The new cams "may" improve spool and "may" add more power from 7800 till 9200 rpm.

These are the shims that we have now and that dont fit....

While I work on M3s, my 23 moths old son Works on his V8 domestic car

He likes XM3 as well

Thanks, but think so:

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

- shifts as fast as a modified Nissan GTR 35 or a Ferrari Italia.
- gear shift speeds are user programmable

- zero loss of boost drop during gear changes. Faster 1/4 mile times, faster 60-130 times

- hands are always on steering Wheel, more control of the car, no need to use right hand for gear shifts.

- No more stress in traffic. Just put in "D" you will be happy. Left leg rests, transmission does it all for you.

Just not my thing. I like to drive my car, not let it drive me.

Agreed, but for the purpose of his car it makes more sense and should run faster times w/o having to shift manually.

When is Bdave going to chime in on these threads

Cut out 1 & 2's fabrication and welding finished ( S50 B32 Twin Turbo)

Twin 3" aluminium pipes go from twin GTX3076 into a Supersprint back box. Cutouts are welded in between.

I designed a new intake manifold, new runners etc, we are fabricating and welding the new box. Hope to road test next week.
