I need quick help or pointer to info (please) ...

I bought Khoalty Angel Eyes - they come on and off (instantly) with power to the car, but Khoalty says they should fade on and fade off when I unlock or lock the car. How do I get this feature to work?

I am installing the Angel Eyes right now - how do I get the AE fading feature to work when the car is locked or unlocked?

Also, the wiring harness that came has one yellow wire - where do I hook that up (the Khoalty online installation instructions do not say)?

I have a 2002 BMW 325i sedan.

Need quick response please as i'm at the shop right now...

THANKS

for my umnitza angel eyes, I just ran the yellow wire through the firewall and I connected it to the footwell light because when you unlock your car, they dim on and off as your angle eyes would.

I'm trying to buy a complete retrofit kit. What would be the best places to find these kits?

This probably doesn't belong here, but what are the BRIGHTEST angel eyes I can get with the least amount of dark spots? Does the amount of LED's affect the brightness or just dark spots?

I installed some cheap ones on my car, they do the job, but I did it as a test. The beauty trim seems to get in the way of the bottom part of brights on my Bi Xenons. This may be a problem because I have the wrong ones on. I have the ones for non projectors on. Or is there something that I will have to do to make the entire ring visible when I install the new angel eyes I buy?

Excuse my ignorance on this matter guys. I'm learning.

*Edit* Orion V4's are basically the best of the best out right now. Does one size fit both projector and non projector headlights? I have Bi Xenons.

why did you take your projector lens out? you really need to clean your headlight lenses, they're so foggy. otherwise they look really nice

edit: did you add the xexon lights??

We would like to announce the release of Orion V2.5
Starting last week, we began shipments selected purchasers of the standard Orion V2 60 LED version with upgrades to the new Orion V2.5!

Some changes to the new Orion V2.5 are quite subtle but make a big difference.
1) We have removed the control boxes and actually built it directly into the circuit board.
2) The LED we are using are designed differently to allow #1 to occur.
3) The LED spacing is dramatically closer together, so there will not be any need for the "opaque" feature.
4) The V2.5 is not available with Night Controller and ONLY AVAILABLE IN 6000K (for now)
5) 25% greater light output than Orion v2.
6) Available for any other fitments except:
a) all E46s except 2004-6 facelifted coupes/convertibles
b) all E39s 1997-2000, and Projector39 Hella Style
c) all E38s 1995-2001
d) all E65s 2002-2005 (non-facelifted)
e) all E36s with Euro Ellipsoids
d) Some other models <-- please inquire first.

For now, we're offering the product at the same price as the Orion V2. However, due to the value add of more LED, better light output (25%)
In order on these photos - Orion V2 LEFT, Orion V2.5 MIDDLE, Orion V4 RIGHT

Is there any way for a (way back) previous purchaser of V2's to "upgrade" to V2.5's?

Looks great!

Unfortunately, due to the difference in design, we will not be offering an upgrade price. Technically, the price now is the upgrade price because it's costing us more to make these.

Then I'll stick with what I have until they (hopefully never) have issues.

Thanks!

A little about this install. Our customer Jerry is looking to complete a full black and white theme. As part of that, the little things had to be done, the grills were sanded down and painted a Jet Black by Federal Auto Body, the headlight inserts were painted an Alpine White by Federal Auto Body, we then painted the individual stripes with a custom black.

Then, we built the 2008 headlights with our Orion V4 offset ring setup. Our LED for the E92 pictured in some of these photos (Jerry's friend's car) were the Orion V2, but for the E64, he wanted the angel eyes output to pop out more in the direct glare of the sun. To finish up the lighting on this car, we also did the HID Canbus Factory Xenon kit.

For more info on this work, please email us info@umnitza.com - for more photos, go here

Seems not too many people are fans of the DEPO headlights but I've had them for close to a year and not a single problem thus far. Got 'em from eBay for a bit over $200 I think. Came with the angel eyes installed, look pretty good I gotta say. They're not as bright as can be in the pictures because I have them hooked up to my turn signals at the moment. Thought it was cool at the time, like an additional turn signal but I'm gonna be moving them to fog lights unless I get a harness, we'll see.

I always get compliments on these and people tell me they look great in the rear view. They're bright enough for me to just run the angel eyes with fogs and they're gonna be even brighter

Also, I had the very very basic crappy headlights before I installed these. Everything was plug and play, much recommended.

Oh and and, tow hook is basically a safety measure for people who can't park. Seem to have a lot of those in Philly
