I'm looking to get my vanos rebuilt and a valve job and would like a good but fairly priced shop in this area

In alabama an indy shop is Momentum Bmw in Pelham, these guys are really good. Hope this helps

In the Atlanta area I recommend Harrison MotorSports in Alpharetta. They do good work and support local BMWCCA activities. I have all my work done there.

They will probably not be the absolute cheapest you might find, but they do great work for a fair price.
