Is 56k/year enough to retire? After inflation your 56k may feel like 28k when you hit your 60s.

10.50 an hour at a local marina. And I'm about to turn 17 Started right after I turned 14 at minimum wage. May not seem like a lot but for part time, plus I'm finishing high school (International Baccalaureate is a b*%^$) I can not complain.

I'm 54. I make much more than I need, and much less than I want. Pretty much like the rest of you, except you are younger.

I'm an uncertified neurologist, I work for a company called doctors for doctors, they actually got bought out not long ago and changed the name to something else with a lot of abbreviations, but I travel from Tennessee to north Alabama, Mississippi, and parts of Georgia testing people in doctors offices for nerve dammage.

Do you really advertise yourself as an "uncertified neurologist?" That's a little misleading.

I have my certifications to do the job I do, I just didn't go to school for 8 years to be a neurologist, and the tests I do are not harmful I sent a few volts through muscles and read the computer to see if there is any nerve dammage, honestly if you know how a sticker works, you can do my job, it's not hard at all

Kinda but not really, I'm the one who does the tests, and the one that diagnoses things, but by school wise yes.

You can't call yourself an uncertified neurologist (which implies you are a physician that hasn't obtained your certification in neurology).

spot on.

Tech or wannabe is a better description.

Put me down as an uncertified neurosurgeon. I watched a few specials on the Discovery channel, so I think I'm up for it if anyone wants to book an appointment.
