Re: What are good stretched tire sizes for 18x10

This is when I start feeling old because "stancing" looks horrible to me and I guess ruining your car is the cool thing to do now.

I run a 9 inch wheel in the rear, and a 8 inch in the front. Fits very well. No rubbing, even with a slightly taller tire. Factory suspension, bilstein HD shocks/struts.
If i had to do it again, i would go with a square set up to be able to rotate the tires. If you dont, just make sure the alignment is completed properly and all settings (toe, camber, caster) are set
to the correct angle.
That being said, i do not see a 10 inch wheel fitting a non-m e46 without modification. With the 9inch wheel i have now, it sits damn near flush with the fender. Looks clean and tasteful.
I can post some pictures, or text them to you like a did for a member not too long ago!
Good luck with everything!

I've seen too many catastrophic blowouts from stretched tires to morally give you a suggestion.

Im ordering 10.5 inch wheels with a 15 offset for the rear on my non m coupe but my fenders are cut, rolled, and pulled. its a lot of body work and its take some experience but ill be running a stretch tire but not a stupid stretch and not stupid camber.

What is "good" is subjective. OP, I would not recommend that wheel sizing, and if you are set on running something like that, the tire size really is going to come down to how much work and effort you're putting into making them fit. Obviously the more your massage your fenders to add clearance, the larger tire you can fit.

Absolutely. There is a little room to spare. Just make sure you run an appropriate sized tire to fill the gap, especially if you aren't lowered.
Send me your number in a PM, and I'll send you some pictures
