Interesting look. Not sure about the fenders though. What is the purpose of the 9 vents on them?

Thanks! Don't get me wrong, really enjoying the matte look for now and the details of the car finally pop which was impossible with Carbon Black. If I do it again I might paint it white.

I try where I can. There is a lot of quality gear out there which not many people tap into.

I'll have to fabricate something. I am looking for a set of non-M mirrors to start with.

Photoshoot: Matte Black E46 M3

I've never been a huge fan of an all black car of any shade not because I don't like blacks, but it hides away the cars beauty and details. Everything sort of merges together and it's hard to see the finer details that would attract so much more people if it was bright and shiny. Of course it looks like the car wasn't exactly made to impress people cosmetically as it's MO, but rather strike a balance between that and performance.

I have no doubt that once it gets a brighter shinier makeover that the details will pop out and people can appreciate it.

I think like most on here, although hey it's your car man, but if you wanted a spoiler on there that you could've found one that was a lot more subtle? Everything flows so smoothly from front all the way till the end and then WHAM! Brick wall! It hurts man, it hurts. Like I said you car do whatever but I'm sure most if given ownership of the car would jump immediately hop on to the rear bumper and rip that boomerang off of it.

Everything says BMW and European and right at the end you see a Japanese dude hop out the back.

Please, tell us how you really feel..

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. FYI the wing is made by BMW Motorsport in Germany.
