Really cool project.
The electronics shouldn't be too difficults since you have complete donor car.
I would probably just swap as much stuff from the 330 as possible - including the gauge cluster and all controllers (EWS, light module ...).

SergiCompact, your 'ti has been a great source of inspiration!

Here is how my 'ti is now...

19" BBS CH...

Interior:

During this spring an S54B32 engine together with m3 suspension, brakes, LSD etc will find its way into my car...

Keep us posted with the progress of your m54b30 build.

It's been a long time since I did any updates...I will briefly go through all 2013
First thing was to ditch the Beyern Mesh in favour of another set of BBS CH 8,5x18 ET35 & 10x18 ET40 I decided to keep the 18" as I didn't want to increase the unsprung wheigt.

I cleaned very well the inner wheels to see if there is any sings of rust (None at all, good to live in sunny Spain!)

I made the mistake of powdercoating them in Titanium, and I don't really like them now probably on the next rubber change they will be back to silver..

Coming out nicely. Love the wheels and caps. New taillights a bigtime improvement.

Check these fronts out:

Well I am not a big fan of installing the front end of the coupe in a Compact. It looks odd I rather prefer to keep the looks of the Ti (I know it's not everyones cup of tea but hey I like it!) Even the second one it's not a BMW

It's been done in the past at least I know a few other compacts with coupe or limo front end. Not for me though.

Also apart from the compact in the link you have mentioned there are a few other compacts with the S54 engine in them. Yes they are hot and the ultimate compact... shame was that I got a free m54b30 engine from my mum's!

But I can always go for the F/I route!!

Next were the supersprint headers...

And a new set of inserts... although I'll probably change them as they look to bright for my taste...

I swapped the roundel for one in better condition

And added some CF
