I recently purchased a Jet Black painted replica tornado front bumper from Datoshway. He tells me his family is in the shipping business & that my bumper will be shipped with the highest quality. The bumper is sent to me via Fed Ex wrapped by cardboard box around the painted bumper. No bubble wrap is put inbetween the cardboard box and the bumper, so obviously when it arrives there are scratches everywhere on the bumper & two of the corners are chipped. So I tell him this and he files a damage claim for me to Fed Ex. I give back the bumper to Fed Ex because I call Datoshway and he says he will refund me my $350. After Fed Ex inspects the bumper, they say it was packaged insufficiently (DUH!!!) and wont pay for the damages. So I try calling him back on his cell phone 5 times, doesnt pick up. So I pm him here on the forum and he tells me he cant refund me my money back anymore cuz he used it on bills. He says that since he's not a business and doesnt have that much money that he shouldnt be held responsible for shipping damages. But he wrapped cardboard around a painted bumper without bubble wrap. How is it not supposed to get damaged????? Why do I screwed over that he didn't package it well? Now Fed Ex is sending him the bumper back & I have nothing. No bumper & no money. :thumbdwn:
