^ Those look great. Noticed last night one of my headlights has developed a purple tint. Probably going to pick up a pair of those.

The color temp is reduced a bit with the higher Wattage ballast, so this is why you can easily go to 6k in 55 Watt ballast and the color temp is more along the lines of 5k.

The main reason I originally went with the DDM Tuning HID kit is the high end halogen bulbs were only lasting about 6-9 months in my trunk. I figured 1 set of HID for my projectors in my trunk were about the same cost as the high end halogens, so if the DDM junk did not last more than 6 months, no loss, well I have had the system in my truck for almost 4 years without a problem.

So the one time investment with DDM has paid off well for me.

Also for anyone keep in mind that even OE HID bulbs degrade with age, if you still have your original bulbs, an upgrade/replacement would help with light output.

I second the Osram CBI. I got a set when my Philips 85122 went out, and the Osrams are much better.

Yes but at a MUCH slower rate than crap aftermarket bulbs which you have.

It's in my lighting guide

I've got depo projector headlights and ddm 4500k bulbs with 55w ballasts. No issues to report.
