How much for an E46 M3 thermostat replacement? I already ordered the kit for it but just need someone to install.

i just did 2 driveshaft CSB's & guibos on the same weekend. i think i need to get my shoulder check, my arms get too heavy quick. either that or i'm to swooooolllll.

if anyone else needs to do there CSB & Guibo hit me up, I really suggest it believe it or not. At 100k miles, I seen one thats shredded and caused some pretty heavy vibrations.

Yeah dude, that thing was shredded at 96k miles. I'm surprised. The new one still felt flimsy. Anyways, I was able to remove a M3 differential under 3 hours. Took a ton of breaks and I even had time to go get a sandwich. I was able to salvage his differential and prevent a disaster of a job from happening.

I really recommend CSB's be serviced. I still have it at the shop steven if you can check it out and see for yourself lol. The guibo was destroyed.

Had my diff fixed by Cholea. Quality work. Clunk is gone. No excuses. He dropped everything he was doing, and fixed the diff in 24 hours time while driving to a machinist. I don't know too many people who would do that.

Just got back not too long ago from meeting up with Cholea.

He did the following things to my 330ci

- Oil filter housing gasket
- AC belt / PS belt
- Vanos Oil Line
- Tensioner / idler Pulley
- The lower CCV hose that connects to the dipstick

Definitely a knowledgeable guy when it comes to e46s. I'm definitely coming back (and will) to this guy. Rates are reasonable and there is a convenient a BMW parts place store < 5mins away.

Thanks for everything man! it was fun hanging out.

This was the show I was talking about

You free this Sunday? Belts/pulleys and oil change? I want to do the oil change on the lift so I can get a clean, mid stream sample to send to Blackstone Labs.

For $25 it's hard not to send it in to see comparisons to other driver's samples. It shows rod bearing wear mostly. BMW has been flip flopping on recommendations for what oil is okay in the e46 M3 so I want to run a few different ones back to back to see comparisons. With the new Castrol formula, my engine runs hotter. It's by no means scientific, but the temp gauge needle is higher than it was with the old Castrol formula, especially on track and when driving hard.

Heres the different ones I want to try. Castrol Edge TWS 10W-60 (new formula), Castrol Motorsport TWS 10W-60 (old formula), Lubromoly 10W-60, Total 10W-60, and Mobil 1 OW-40 (not sure about this one with living in California climate).

If Cholea's up for it just belts, pulleys, and oil change only. Maybe re-insert my Post O2 sensors if he can do the belts and pulleys quickly.
