Coilover install help!!!!

Ok so my coilover was install,
I have some question,
first is that after lowering the height with the front spring lock nut, there is still some space left in between the spring lock and the shock lock(bottom). should I shorten the shock in more so that both lock touch each other, in order to allow most damper travel?

as for rear, is my shock not suppose to be all out long like this? am I suppose to shorten it in for more travel? Since my rear bounce crazy , its stiff bounce, but I am not even half using the damper setting.
Feel abnormal. I was wondering if its because shock body too long.

Please kindly refer to my pics
Thanks everyone

This is rear, the shock is touching the upper spring rubber on no compress,
So this is too high?
