May not be a good time for my e46, I got it in august, now I may be forced to sell it to pick up something all wheel drive in order to survive the winter at our new place. Now trying to research and decide between 2002 Audi s4 avant or mk4 r32

Just get good snow tires. Other people on these forums seem fine with their cars in worse places than you live.

That duplicolor spray is great. I used it to restore the middle cloth portion on my sport seats.

1 season of ass chafing later, looks the same as the day i treated it.

It's amazing to me that a non M E46 is such a beautiful car but the E46 M has never done much for me.

Hah its funny actually I'm in upstate New York and just traded in my 4x4 Jeep and bought my E46 in September, knowing full well that winter is coming up. I have snow tires for the E46, should be a good time. And if you're already decided you want AWD, definitely go Audi because the Quattro system is phenomenal.

Decided to black out my grills. Liked it so much I think I'm going to do the window trim and rain gutter trim next.

Drove my mom to the hospital. Seen this, took a picture of it.

Oil change parts, Cabin, air, fuel filters, and spark plugs should be here by Thursday.

I can't vouch for the Audi having not driven one, but I can vouch for the R32. My brother had a tornado red r32 and it was amazing. It was basically an M3 of a golf. Not quite an M3 though. He drove it up an unpaved mountain years ago and it did fine, I was questionable about him doing it but all was good.

There is a spec but you should just turn the bolt until it bottoms out. It's really easy.

Well mine doesn't leak at all so there's that. It worked perfectly. It's not like it was difficult to turn them that far. I did it with a 1/4 small ratchet in my palm.

tightened my power steering reservoir hose today, no more oil stuff on the driveway so it seems. Is the reservoir cap supposed to have a gasket? I bought one because mine was missing and after i put it in there looks like it don't wanna close well anymore , its like there isn't a place for it to on the cap, so i took it off and just tightened it well. Anyone know?
