Parrot bluetooth kit

Im looking to get a hands free bluetooth kit for my E46 which has an OEM CD player.

My question is, when you recieve a call does it say PHONE on the head unit? I believe this is critical as if it does not, then the speakers are only muted meaning the CD/IPOD will continue to play. If it does say PHONE, then it pauses the CD/IPOD.

Anyone able to answer?

If you only have the OEM CD player I don't see how it could pause your iPod, unless you have an iPhone and then your phone will pause the music.

How my OEM bluetooth works; when synced, if I recieve a phone call, whatever is playing is paused (if AUX is being listened to it will be muted) and the head unit will make a ring out of the speakers, you can then press the talk button on the steering wheel to answer. Your music will remain paused/muted unit the phone is disconnected.

Depends on the device I guess. I know for a fact my grom bluetooth will stop music playing via bluetooth and ring then you press track up and it answers it.

It does indeed say phone!!!
And it does work properly regardless to Mode of the Radio
(MK6000 upgraded later to MKI9000,.....no need to change the wiring harness with this upgrade)
