Just like apples is free to anyone running os 10.6 or higher.
you still had to buy the original base version at some point.

You must read everything with a differing opinion to your own as all caps like a screaming child typing to you.

No one is worked up. I asked what they should have done, and again, you are too good to put your actual thoughts down on the page, and stick to your holier than thou position, and calling people crazy.

Do you care to enlighten us little people with your reasoning and opinion on what apple could have done when looking at the problem of price from an outsiders perspective? No??? Ok then... move along.

Wasn't multi-display support one of the big features of OSX?

You can still find ways to get Windows 8 for free and I don't mean using a torrent.
I got mine from my school and installed it a virtual machine but rarely ever use it.

Also, ya like the guy above said I didn't want to give the impression that you can upgrade
from a previous version of Windows. I believe MS makes most of their money from MS Office
and Windows, so on second thought I wouldn't be surprised if they continued to charge for OS
upgrades.

I like to read threads from last page to first.. Everyone hates each other at the beginning and then winds down to a nice civilized conversation.

True, pretty embarrassing. I blame the gimmicky full screen nonsense.
Btw, no problems at all here with a 3 screen setup (one through decklink).

Upgraded to Mavericks this morning since it took forever to download it.
My two favorite features are Timer Coalescing and Compressed Memory.
The rest of the 198 features are not very useful for me.

Anyone using the new Apple TV or Airport Extreme/Time Capsule? Thoughts?
I've been using an old Airport Express Wireless Router (plugs directly into electrical socket) which I'll move to my older stereo system to send my itunes to.

No, it's 1.44 times faster, or 44% faster. But yeah, lol at advertising benchmarks
