Maybe I was incorrect and the switch should be in the other position, I was going by memory.

But I assume that you already tried both positions.

BTW, hair color is difficult to discern over the internet

Welcome Kerri to the wide open sky above your E46! Lee County is great vert driving, especially now that the summer rains are done. Drive that bridge to Sanibel with the top down yet?

That's great country, both Alva and England. English roads and Florida sun: there's a combination.

Pretty sure they didn't. Six speeds only in the manual. My zhp is still crying from not having a manual... And I am too.

I'm sure its really a stellar achievement to buy a five thousand dollar car, pimp it out craigslist wheels, and slap on some ebay springs.

Congratulations, your car is a disaster.

You may be the first woman I've seen announcing her presence. I didn't know such creatures existed on this forum

Welcome to the club! Glad you got it sorted out, a convertible without a working top is just useless lol.

Hi Kerri, welcome! If you want an honest opinion on the wind deflector, GET ONE! You are going to love it! It really deflects the air going into the cabin helping by not letting the wind mess up your hairdo that much. Also, the cabin becomes a bit quieter too. An added bonus is that you can leave it on even when opening/closing the top. They are expensive but well worth it. I bought mine (brand new) on eBay for $350. Sometimes you can find used ones on Craigslist much cheaper. Enjoy the Bimmer!
