My Ride: Bmw 330xi 2004
Angry Bmw 330xi 2004

My 330xi 2004 is constantly overheating, there was a leak in the antifreeze canister got that fixed and now the car is all good until I start driving it. It stays at 12 and after driving it for like 5 10 min it starts going to red,at a stand still if I rev the engine it goes back down to normal temp sometimes then I noticed that one hose is boiling hot and the other end after the thermostat is cold can it be the thermostat or is more then that? The records I got from the previous owner state that the water pump and head gasket where replaced and then the car sat for a month any help will be appreciated thank u Camillo ...

revving to cool engine sounds like a bad waterpump to me.

as mango would always say REPLACE YOUR ENTIRE COOLING SYSTEM.
looks like either your water pump is bad or the thermostat is stuck.
