2000 323i speakers help

Ok let me start off with new to the forum so forgive me if this may have already been posted ... I bought a 323i from someone that was fixing it up ... He only had the back two woofer speakers hooked up ... So I go through with a ohms reader and test the other speakers and they all seem to be working ( right front tweeter, and both rear mids in the doors ) ... I still haven't replaced the left and right front bottom (low) speakers ... But the left front tweeter and left and right front mids don't seem to be getting any power through the wires any ideas or suggestions if it could be a bad connection to the radio or to the amp in the back of the car .... Factory blaupunkt head unit and factory alpine amp in the trunk

Without looking over the car it is hard to say exactly what has happened, but it is likely a failing amplifier (not unheard of on these cars) or cut wiring somewhere in between. I would lean more towards wiring issues however given what you had found so far!

Re: 2000 323i speakers help

So would you think rewiring those few speakers I can't get to work and putting on a seperate amp or test the current amp to see if I can find the faulty area
