Homemade Protein Bar Recipes?

I've been buying these insanely good homemade bars for a while now, but would like to make some myself--can't get their recipe, unfortunately. I don't eat a ton of them as I prefer to get protein from real food, but they're definitely good to have in certain circumstances.

Looking for them to be:

-gluten free
-soy free
-stevia sweetened/no added sugar/no sugar alcohols
-~20 grams protein; ~200 cals ea. bar
-raw

Have any to share?

No idea man. Anything I would suggest would probably have oats in it.

Yeah, not an easy ask, haha. Store bought bars have so much garbage in them it's absurd.

Gluten free oats exist, but many claim they still have negative reactions. For the bars I get, they replace the gfree oats with shaved coconut and they still taste great.

Yes, I'm aware of the googles. Though, personal recommendations are far better, especially within the context of training/exercising. But, glad you got to use that emoticon.

I've tried many "paleo" recipes, most are not bad but all need tweaking. trial and error is the best way.

Quest protein bar is what you're after. Order them on Amazon. About $2.20 a piece. Not sure about allergies you mentioned, but check them out.

Hell yeah. Buying now. Thanks!!

Still would like to make my own eventually, but these seem like they're definitely worth a try.

I have done a lot of research, Quest is the best to buy. Most bars are either high in bad carbs or fat. I use Quest occasionally when I don't have time for a meal/shake or to take when traveling. Brownie flavor, if you microwave a bar for 10sec, it tastes like brownies. Too bad the bars are not cheap.

I'm paying $3/bar for the homemade ones I've been eating, so you're saving me money, haha.

I'm surprised I haven't seem them is stores; or maybe I've just passed them by. I'll report back after I've tried them.

I have only seen them at GNC. Otherwise, mostly online. I buy ON why protien in 10lb bags, so I'm used to cheap per TB. 25g from quest cost 5x more than whey powder. lol
