Video: BMW Brand Wheel Cleaner Review

Hey guys, I just got some BMW Brand wheel cleaner, the new bottle, not the stuff they've had around for years, it's amazing! It changes color and works really well. I'd say it's as good as Sonax Full Effect, but cheaper.

Chances are it is Sonax wheel cleaner or 1z Colortec since BMW has been known to rebrand german brands. Nice and safe.

Why do people use wheel cleaner? Soap and water work just fine don't they?

On the roads to my house I always get wet tar slung all over the wheel and sonax is the only thing I've used that gets it off without scrubbing for too long. So for some cases it's helpful, but yeah for brake dust soap + water is just fine, I agree.

Does it clean up brake dust off of wheels too? That shits a bitch to clean.

You'll need to use a wheel brush with it, but you won't have to scrub like crazy, let it dwell for 5 minutes or so, let it do it thing and turn purple. (that's it reacting and loosening the Iron) and scrub the surfaces with a wheel brush. Use it sparingly a little goes a long way.

Soap and water won't remove any embedded brake dust or Iron.
