Can't say I've ever ha to explain to them about my mods unless they ask to know more about it in particular. Especially after they say how nice it sounds

There's good sound, and bad sound. Some people think sound in general is all good...

They just don't get it

Personally, I will give up horsepower to get the right sound. Still searching for the right sound for my E46 but loved the sound of my E36 M3 so much, I'd ride around in the winter with the windows open just to listen to it echo off the center medians/overpass/tunnels/etc.

For those that don't like it, I say it's all "mind over matter; I don't mind 'cause they don't matter"!!

(Just because I have a minute, the E36 was a '95 M3 with cams, injectors, Euro MAF, Euro cold air intake, dyno-tuned at European Racing Technologies, stock header and exhaust up to Borla muffler. I really loved that car but I have to say that the sound of that car is the only thing I like better than my E46).

p.s. the "modded" card in the spokes pic is hysterical!
