Haven't done Fran. When I do thruster in Vibrams, it kills my lower back. I'll eventually try them in my Romaleos.

It's more easy to kill with a sword than with a gun.

A sword is more frightening than toy-looking gun like glock.

robbing with a sword is a good thing

they kill my wrists. I feel like my grip isn't right so I'm sure I'll learn more this weekend.

This is garbage advice, I know, but for me it seemed that when I started letting the bar take its "normal" path, it worked much better. When I started, I was trying to control the bar with my grip (as I'd often do in "regular" lifting.)

I've heard a lot of people saying a loser grip is better. That kind of relates to what you're saying.

Sorry...I wasn't very clear, but Solly was spot on. I'm used to seeing bigger gaps in squat and DL maxes, and thought with a strong DL like yours, you probably had more in the tank on your DL.

As it turns out, my suspicion was correct...nice work

Gotcha. Your question makes sense in retrospect.

I seldom go all out on dead in a workout because we tend to do a LOT after them.

Currently traveling for Thanksgiving. Probably going to a local CF gym tomorrow. For today, though, I just did 30 mins on a spin bike.

I've had some life-changing events take place in the last couple years, so I've had a lot of downtime. I'm just now getting back into it...been at it two weeks now, so I'm just doing basic lifts to get the soreness out. After the Thanksgiving holiday, I'll get back into CF workouts.

Heading back to Chicago today. Did some light workouts while I was traveling - a bunch of pull ups and push ups, cycling, etc.

My travel schedule is light from now till Christmas, so I'll be pushing myself in the gym this month.

If my travel permits in Q1, I'm going to work to get more rounded and see how well I can do in my region for the Open. Not that I think I'll be particularly competitive - just something I want to do to challenge myself.

Snatch
15 min to build to 1RM
I built up to 155lbs fairly easily, but failed multiple times on 175lbs

Clean and Jerk
15 min to build to 1RM
I got 195lbs and would've gone a bit higher if I had more time

METCON
Two minutes to row 250 meters, the remainder of the time spent doing HSPU, then two minutes rest. Repeat three times for a total of four rounds. Score was your total number of HSPU. I got 56.

3 min push ups
3 min air squats
