19x8.5 ET35 will fit on an E46 no problem. Run 235/35/19 tires.

I have rear 245/40/18 and after rear arching there isn't any rub at all! even on speed bumps, however, I have just received my lowering springs of 40mm front and rear and wondering would this still be okay or will it rub?

Because of the offsets on these wheels im really scared they don't fit

Any help guys?
