find an insurance broker, tell them what conditions you need and you'll be surprised what you can get.

Re: Car insurance due - is Progressive any good?

I have progressive bundled with my motorcycle. No complaints. Filed a claim few years ago for several thousand dollars worth of vandalism on my 330ci and everything went smoothly. I would recommend windshield coverage cause those windshields with rain sensors are uber expensive to repair.

Hey Zona, thanks for your feedback on Progressive.

I do note, however, that you are in Phoenix, AZ. I really do wonder if the Australian branches of Progressive provide the same level of service though.

I note in their PDS that they choose the repairer in the event of a claim, not the customer. They confirmed this in an exchange of emails I recently had with them asking who the repairers that Progressive uses in my area, and when I pressed harder for the list of repairers in my area, they would not tell me! Why so secretive?

Must shop around. For me, this was not the better way to go. The biggest issue is not only the premium, but how they handle claims---and how cheap they are in NOT allowing xxx, xxx, xxx and not allowing OEM parts--only after market parts, or only using THEIR shops, not where you want to go.
