Thinking about doing clutch stop and CDV delete. Those of you who have this done, what are the pros/cons to this? Already have the clutch stop on the way, but where's a good place to get the CDV delete?

Yeah, I meant the track days. Seems like it's pretty fun and you would learn a lot from it. Much more than you ever could riding on roads. I figured it would slow down as the weather got colder.

Yeah it's addictive. Like nothing else.
You do learn an immense amount about the bike and yourself.

Clutch stop is amazing. You'll love it
CDV. Not sure if any of my cars have it.

ALL manual transmission BMW cars have a CDV. Clutch Delay Valve. Basically it's BMWs way of protecting the drivetrain from inexperienced manual drivers. However, if you remove the CDV (installing a bypass known as a CDV delete) it's supposed to make shifting like 10x smoother and better.

Uhmmm. I know what it is. This isn't my 1st manual BMW.

What I'm saying is, I don't know if mine were ever deleted. The M3 doesn't feel like it was done. Not sure if my sedan was or not.

Ah. Sorry, I misunderstood you. I know your sedan was manual. So you've never done it yourself? I wonder if anyone on her has.

Nope. Neve done it. I've driven one without it and liked it. But honestly. It doesn't bother me enough to remember to do it.
The clutch stop However. That's a different story.

Re: hampton roads

Do both clutch delay and stop. I noticed a big difference in they way mine shifted before clutch delay was removed. My shop a simply removed they told me there was enough slack in the line that I didn't need a hollowed valve. Never had any problems.

John, where did you get yours done at? I'd really like a shop to do mine because I don't feel comfortable with bleeding the clutch lines. Also, I'm not sure if there's enough slack in my lines to do away with the valve completely or if I'd need a hollowed out replacement. Let me know what shop you used. I'd like to talk to them about it further.

Hi All,

Anyone out there happen to have any s54 injectors? I'm trying to get this car back together, had to replace coils/plugs yesterday to clear codes, but have a code saying Injector #1 is bad.

Please let me know if you can help.

Thanks
