Track air compressor

Is this one any good for inflating tires prior to a track event?

I bought a portable air compressor from a hardware store called Menard's here in the Chicago area. It's by a company called Campbell Hausfield. It works fine. I'm sure that little one you posted will work okay too.

buy an airtank instead. it will be faster and it will be very cheap. just make sure you tie it down and fill it before leaving for the track.

all tracks here in the west have free air. I usually set my hoosiers at 40psi cold and work tyhem down till I get to my desired preassure which is about 40 hot...

Bought a craftsman instead - very cheap and works fine.

How much working air can you get into a tank? Will it be more than enough?

there's a gas station around the corner from the S. Plainfield autox site!

I'm hitting my tires with my air compressor at home before the events. It's not that far a ride.

it's more than enough for 1 car. but obviously it's not enough to fill all the tires if they are really low.

120psi with 5 gallon capacity so... umm someone else do the math
