Most people seem to figure out the hardware, and then get stuck on tuning. Some for years....

If you have a means of tuning that you are comfortable with, I would suggest as small a turbo as possible to meet your power goal. The Garret T60 turbo in the TT kit is probably the most perfect match for our engines that I've ever seen. The compressor map just fits like a glove. However, if you want something "newer", I think the GT28 range is probably a good choice, and you can test out what different models would look like by using Garret's online tool:

Keep asking questions, some of us don't mind going over things again. (I realize english is probably your 2nd or 3rd language)

Good luck.

So now I'm not so enthusiastic anymore. Actually I'm kinda pissed off.

Daniel, WHY have you removed information and killed these two threads ? All of us at E46F come here for a useful information exchange. You posted this "mild turbo M54B30? which setup" thread to get OUR help as to picking the best "turbo" for your application, and most us us have been trying to help you. But you deny us any or all of your knowledge on these two threads.

This forum is NOT a one way street setup just to benefit daniel_f. for your endeavors.

Unless you correct your actions, support & hopefully many others just evaporated.

Yeah, that's kinda ****ed up. Threads like that are what the community needs to really flourish.
