Welcome!

They are style 42's. If you go on eBay and search "BMW style 42" you will hen see what I mean. They are actually made by bbs if I recall correct and are two piece wheels.

Wow. Those are expensive. I never looked twice at them. Interesting!

I gave her a bath today, here are a few pictures in daylight.

I gotta do something about those taillights. They are so big and ugly. I'm thinking I'll tint them dark. Any suggestions or experience?

Those defiantly do look better then my stock lights. Have you ever had experience with these LED ones? I saw them on a car and liked them. But if the LED part has problems let me know. I've never done LED lights before.

I'd get the facelifts you suggested if there's anything wrong with these LED ones.

They're both about $150.00, but defiantly worth it.

eBay "brand" car parts don't have the best reputation for parts and often come along with many problems and fitment issues. If I were you I would browse the local Craigslist ads and the forums for a set of used ones. They are much cheaper and oem. Your second option would be to buy the eagle eye ones of a websiye like Khoalty. Here is the link:

Curious, which trim Xtype do you come from, and how does it compare?

I had a 2003 Jaguar X-Type 3.0 Auto. 141k miles. I put 60k miles on it.
I really did love the car, it felt more comfortable then the BMW, it had AWD, which in Minnesota is extremely nice to have. The jaguar had many little features that made the car so lovable, things I'm not finding with the BMW.

The BMW feels much better handling, it's a more fun drive. But I must say the jag was more comfortable, and was just simply a top notch car.

If both the jag and BMW had 100k miles on them, I would choose the jaguar. It suits me better. But trading my jag with 141k for the BMW with 77k was a good call I feel.

Hope that helps. In the end, cars are cars. I get sick of a car after a few years, I'm loving the change so far.
