Hi dvendt, the latest unit has no speed sensitive volume control added. We need to do market research & information collection before a new function added. I cannot sure whether this function will be applied to D5150 at the moment. Hope you can kindly understand it. Thanks

Hi Carlos. Thanks for all your help!
Quick question for you & anyone else.
I have the d5150 in my 330Ci & LOVE it. However, the telephone volume is very low for folks that I am talking to. I hear them nicely, but they hardly hear me.
How do I fix that?

thanks.

Hi fRazz617, MICs in car have strong sound reception and has NO sound filter,i suggest you follow a correct way when we use the MIC:
1. Donít open Windows, especially the driver's window. The wind, outside noise, even the engine noise will come into the mic at the same time.
2. Donít make the air from air-con come out towards the hole of the MIC.
3. The distance between driver's seat and the unit also matters. A further distant will make "echo" sound effect.
4. Change another mobile phone to have a try. According to our testing, some of mobile phones have weaker Bluetooth reception as others, such as HTC. We donít know the specific reasons by far, maybe it's about the chip.

If unfortunately there is no improve, you can take WOLFN8TR's post for reference.
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showpos...&postcount=424

Hope it will help.

Hi Steve, thanks for join us!
Do you mean radio antenna? Meanwhile, if your car has the OEM navigation, Then the unit can work with your car, but it cant be plug directly, you need to buy an adapter to install it as your plug is different.
We dont have such an adapter for you, maybe you can go the following ebay store to look for it.
You may need extension cable:

If your connector is a 17 pin.

If your connector is a 40 pin.

GM5150 install

Has anyone installed a D5150/GN5150 in an E46 with Original navigation? I am going to do the install shortly and I forsee some install issues. The E46 OEM naviation unit has all the tuner stuff etc. in the trunk. The head unit only sends signals to that unit. So the Antenna comes from the trunk, as does everything else. I bought an adapter cable, (which hasn't shown up yet)

Anyone out there that has done this upgrade?

steve

Wolf or cakm3 can give you some details. It's a pain from what I hear. Hoping Eonon will address it with a kit, etc.
