Successful Pig Hunt - Pics!

Thought I would share a picture of my latest pig hunt in Northern California. My Dad and I spooked a group of 6 or so hogs, and I took this guy as he was running directly away from me. It was roughly a 150-170 yard shot.

The guide said he was approximately 260-280 lbs. Tusks are in perfect condition, too; 3 inches on both sides.

I was able to recover the bullet as well. 120 grain Hornady GMX (solid copper).

And for those that are wondering, I built the rifle myself. It is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. This was its first hunt!

- Stainless Remington 700 S/A receiver
- Krieger stainless barrel
- Bell & Carlson "Light Tactical" stock

Can't wait to get my European skull mount back! I will post up pics as soon as it arrives.

Keep shooting,
Chase

I can't remember exactly what model it is, but it is a 4.5-14x. It is off of my old hunting rig (7mag).
