A, B, and C Pillar re-wrap.

As many of you have experienced, my fabric on the pillars of the car had finally started to peel off and flap about while driving with the windows down. I decided rather than just replace, to upgrade a bit as well. After a quick trip up the road to a fabric shop, I had an awesome black suede that matched the interior pretty well. As you've seen from the DIY section, this is a pretty straightforward upgrade, but I think the color change has made a pretty significant change to the appearance to the interior, especially from the drivers pov. This was my first crack at any kind of upholstery so there are some rough edges here and there.

^ That is a lot of work. Would have to cover the sunvisors, paint the light housings, hooks, grab handles, etc, to match the black. Maybe should have gone with a suede that matched the headliner color?

Nice work never the less. Not an easy job to do and not end up with no wrinkles or glue stains.

nah you can leave the grey it doesn't look too bad especially since you have silver trim. it would look good.... i did my headliner as well as my pillars... you'll probably regret not doing it all at one time. but i will say that you can get the pillars out a lot easier now that you know how.. I've done 3 e46s and the second and 3rd time were both wayyyy faster. i have done trim like 5 times as well lol.

Looks good though.

I just did the exact same thing to mine. It turned out awesome and probably saved 250.00 if not more in buying new pilars. I was thinking about doing my head liner and then quickly changed my mind due to the amount of work involved. Also, the only thing I did different than the op was not painting the grey seat belt adjusters because I felt it would help tie it in to the grey headliner better
