Oh it does. COngrats and nice find OP. My car was also minty fresh inside and out as far as looks/cosmetics goes. When I got it it looked just like that if not better (haven't seen your interior) everything shiny, everything looking mint, everything looking factory fresh.

But beneath the skin of a 10 yr old 80-100k+ BMW tells a different story.

-All fluids and filters other than engine oil and air filter are likely original and neglected
-All struts and shocks are blown, rear springs cracked
-Sway bushings mushy and worn
-Rubber suspension mountings are worn
-Cooling system original with possible t-stat or water pump replaced by prior owner
-AC never serviced
-Brakes may be worn
-Air and fuel delivery and control all worn
-CCV brittle, possibly leaking
-DISA possibly rattly, vacuum leak
-VANOS needing addressing
-etc, etc.

The majority of the $3,000 is suspension work and cooling and factors little of the above.

Either way congrats and I'm sure you'll get started making her roadworthy soon!

How's it compare to your 330 power wise? I've always been curious if it really is worth the premium.

Feels just a lil bit more thruout the entire range. I think the overall package is definitely worth it

I don't care too much for the M3 Tails on the sedan, but I'm definitely jealous. It's a beautiful car in one of my favorite colors. Plus, I love ZHPs. Congratulations, you really have no reason not to be happy!

At 1st I wasn't a fan either, but they grew on me the more I kept lookin at em. Now if there were some nice LED R/C/R available I'd probably switch

The LED R/C/R is the perfect tail light for the LCI E46 Sedan. Especially the ZHP. Maybe you'll get lucky and can find some.

They exist the LED design just isn't "pretty" (like the circular design of coupes/prefacelift sedan LED tails).

And no one uses the term LCI for anything pre-E90's. E46 coupes and sedans are prefacelift and facelift

EDIT: http://www.khoalty.com/bmw-e46-led-t...ghts-depo.html

Those are pretty hideous. I'm not sure if these are the same, but from the image, I don't think they look too bad.

If they are the same, I'd just not get LED ones, since the RCR is the best looking for the Sedan.

They only look good in the daytime when they're not lit up
