I'm pretty sure you can replace the ball joints, they should be metal if they are true ZHPs. Are they 60 or 66mm ends?

I would recycle them if I were you. Should be able to get about $10 or so for the pair. They are a nice chunk of aluminum.
Selling them to someone on here isn't cool. Plus, I don't think they are any different than other LCAs.

The inner ball joints are stronger on the ZHPs, but given that they need replacing your suggestion to recycle them is a good one.
