Just bought some Underdrive pulleys from ECS Tuning. I will be putting them on in the next few weeks.

I have HAD it with this snow. For real.

Once BMW offers me a position, I am so out of this state. For now, I have to stay at Compuware and keep building resumee meat.

Hagerty is looking for a 325ix if anybody knows of one..Hagerty Classic Cars Magazine, part of Hagerty Insurance, is trying to put together a photo shoot (within the next 30 days) to support a story by Ezra Dyer called "Winter Wonders" about cars that are now collectible that were great in the snow.

Ezra was going to join the photographer, art director and collected cars at a northern suburban Detroit location (hopefully Waterford Hills) and get to know the owners and the cars (seat time if possible) and explain what they're like, why they were special and where they stand today.

We've tentatively lined up an original Audi Quattro Coupe and I have yet to reach out for an Olds Tornado or AMC Eagle.

Ezra specifically requested that we include an E30 325ix and we feel it's a great choice and should be a part of the shoot. I would be grateful for anything you can do to help us find a 325Ix. Please feel free to publish my Hagerty e-mail address: stein@hagerty.com and Hagerty cell phone number: 231/590-6894

Thank you very much.

Jonathan

Just ordered everything to overhaul the cooling system except the RAD (I don't see a need for that) and car is apart and waiting for new parts to arrive.
Underdrive pulleys will be going on as well (already have them). Fun Fun!

BMW club "Thumb Drive" is coming up soon. I think it is April 12th. I went last year and it was a lot of fun. I think there was 20-30 cars, all different BMW's, a few minis, and a Lotus

We started in Sterling Heights and drove all over the thumb in a spirited fashion.

The weather was nice so it was just an all around great time. Weather prevailing this year I will be there.

FYI, you don't have to be a member of the club, I wasn't.

NoGuru,

Where in Sterling Heights does it begin? When you say thumb drive, is it go from Sterling Heights to the thumb area literally?

Thanks!

I don't have any details on a starting point yet but when I do I will post them.

Last year we started in Sterling heights and drove to the top of the thumb and had lunch. Very Spirited driving

I still have not heard if the Thumb drive is on but I will post when I do.

In the mean time, just installed my Angel Eyes.

Just installed my Nexus 7 in the dash. I may do a write up on it one day. Hey NoGuru, how difficult is the Angel Eyes install? I'm thinking of doing the same

My install was a huge pain in the A$$ but just because I bought mine used and the clips to add them to the headlight trim was gone so I have to drill some holes.
How hard was the Nexus install and how does it look? Maybe we can trade some work

Total pain in the ass because of the steering wheel controls, but now that it's done I could probably do it again in a few hours.

I will do the write up once it warms up because I have to take it apart. I'll post a pic when I get home from work

And I'm totally on board with trading work

noGuru,

Looking good!

Where did you get them? You mention they were used but was wondering also on brand etc.

Thanks.
