If this is your drag car, wouldn't you want smaller wheels?

The tires were painted by him and his bros with index cards (or empty frozen burrito wrappers) scattered around the edge in a random pattern. This is a very likely indication of the rest of the car and the care (or lack thereof) used to work on it. OP, is this car used on public streets? I'd assume so. also what do you mean "drag car"... I have so many questions and so many different directions to take this.

also is this car from the following?

-Glendale?
-Van Nuys?
-North Hollywood?
-Canoga Park?
-Panorama City?
-Reseda?

Going to guess Glendale (although name wouldn't make sense) or North Hollywood. The rest are close seconds. Just curious!

Did you swap in the bumper by banging on it with the sledge hammer?

ehhhhh

What a sad day for the E46 community.

And this is defiantly not from north Hollywood. It would have gotten towed and crushed.

I love how he didn't even spray the corners and headlight lenses separate... just sprayed right over both with them still on the car.

This poor E46

It's a drag car with stock seats and interior? Them wheels don't look too light either...

IDK man but those headlights probably make his car more aerodynamic. Don't need light wheels when you have dipped headlights!

OP, I reserved my judgement behind the questionable paint job and took a look at your pics in the other thread....

You say M3 swap... cool, great job on that one, but what m3 swap? where is the S54/S65? That one pic that i can see whats under the hood, I see a standard M54 engine cover.... :\

I also see an auxiliary fan and a cheap looking pod filter... so as far as im concerned, its a run of the mill 325i automatic with an air filter that mostly likely decreases the engines performance.

If I were you, going to a respectable BMW meet, claiming M3 swap and drag car, would be the last thing I do.
Open your browser, paste in below without period in "youtube":

to see how would your BMW meet turn out

When he said M3 swap he meant the cup holders.

Hahaha. It's a drag car. He owns a full size pick up and a car hauler that he uses to haul this thing to car meets. That's why there is no need for headlights.

More paint makes the car heavier. If it was a drag car, you wouldn't add 30 lbs of paint.
