I have a hard time with my 312 when wearing a suit. Especially with a french cuff shirt.

I need a dress watch soon...

I agree, a lot of times the shirt gets caught (the cuff) on the watch and the watch sticks out which is kind of annoying (I have to shake my wrist to get it down) but Im generally pretty conscious of it and fix it without even thinking about it.

I've really been eyeing one of these for a suit watch....

or this

Not sure of the color scheme I'd like, I love them both.

For dress watches, I have my trusty Longines; really classy and quality piece, and a good bang for your buck.

I'm planning on adding another dress watch, but haven't quite committed to a higher price tag and waiting for the right moment for a PP or Lange.

I have been very fascinated by FC's 'affordable luxury' concept, especially with their in-house movement. I believe with online grey market dealers, they can be had for 1-2k a pop.

Albeit this may be a bit larger than what most people consider a dress watch (at 42mm I believe), it's a beautiful piece

I was a bit taken back by their PRICE TAG. I've seen the same watch before and always thought it was in the fifty to hundred dollar range...

When it comes to GMTs, I've always been a pepsi guy.

Sorry to disappoint, but it's just the regular black bezel GMT. I originally had gone in to look at the Sub No date and the Tudor Black Bay. It was between the sub and the GMT, but the GMT was the winner. It 'sung to me' more than the sub for some reason. I know some people don't like the PCL but I think it 'dresses it up a bit'. On a side note, I hear that Rolex may release a Coke GMT this year in Baselworld, but it could be a special edition or a precious metal version!

Congrats. I like the black bezel more than the black/blue, as well. I was also torn between the 116710LN and the 114060. At first, I was sure that I wanted the 116710LN, but after trying them on, back to back, the symmetry and simplicity of the 114060 won me over.

The BB is cool, but I like the Pelagos a lot more.

Thanks man! I found the Black Bay to be a bit too small for my liking. I think it has to do with the fact that it has no crown guards, and quite possible a nod to the classic sub back in the day. The Pelagos for me looked a bit utilitarian. The best way I can describe it in my opinion, is a 'futuristic-submariner.'

The 114060 is a beauty. Another reason why I did not get the sub was because a close family friend offered to sell his '92 14060 sub to me sometime this year, and I'm a sucker for vintage

Yes, the Pelagos is very utilitarian. It's very anti-bling lol. It would have been great if it had lugholes.

I'd like a 14060, but I think I'd rather go for a 5513 because of the plexi crystal and flat dial (no WG).

Yea, true, but what I meant was that the lume plots are not surrounded by white gold like the newer models. It's just the lume, giving it a "flat" look. The newer models sort of have a 3D look to it.
