My iPhone OBD Reader Experience...

SORRY - Meant to post this in the GENERAL E46 section, not here in the Vert-section.

Finally took the time to order the parts and the iPhone App so I could monitor my car(s) on a periodic basis.

Overall, pretty cool stuff. Price is relatively cheap. Here's what I got:
There are LOTS of options to choose from (see picture) and I'm still trying to figure out what are the best ones to display. One thing for sure, its great to have the coolant temperature available. Would love to have oil temperature and pressure, but thats not available.

Has the ability to create and alter your dashboards (display types and analog .vs. digital)

Its a relatively cheap ($30) monitoring tool, can also do OBD DTC scans and can erase the codes as well. Has a logging capability (which I havent tried) and other features.

Bottom line, its a great thing to have to understand where issues may be. I'll post a MAF Intake pressure reading at various speeds and throttle conditions some time this weekend. Would be interesting to compare these readings with those that have an oil-catch-can (CCV-re-route) to see if these pressure differences are noticeable.
