What bothers me is

1) Contract was given to a Canadian company.
2) Sh!t company couldn't build a decent website.
3) Government spent 600MM+ on a website that doesn't work that took years to make, when 3 dudes in a garage would have done it for 100K a piece, a visit to the white house, a few burgers, and a handslap from Obummer.

why is "six hundred million dollars" abbreviated "$600MM"? Why the two 'M's? I always read it in my head as "mega millions".
