I love my 1DsMKiii to death (and doubt I'll ever switch bodies unless it breaks) but this might be an awesome second body, not to mention, smaller, provided it works smoothly with canon L glass.

I admit if I didn't have other more important things to spend it on, I would love one of those cameras. However my 320HS is an awesome camera for casual purposes, see my sig I used my camera for that. It's 1080p and has video too. And nowadays you can get one probably for under $200.

I would be awesome to have a $3000 camera though (or $1400)

You may have been looking at the a7r as well which is more expensive, the a7 retails with a kit lens for 2k.
