Pity about the weather, but it was still a fantastic turn out considering the circumstances.

Peter and Dave, Sorry I couldn't take the time to have a chat to you boys, i saw you guys wandering around from a distance but I spent the entire showing moving back and forth from both ends whilst dealing with the bands, and the manager of the wedding upstairs lol.

Was great to meet you Andrew, and good to also catch up with Eric for a bit.
All good man.. saw you running around.. knew you were busy

Thanks Manny!

yeah we had no idea about the wedding, and the managers of the venue had no idea about us either. miscommunications on both sides and the council I think.

Was it really obvious that I had no sleep? lol.

we've contacted the Owner of Eye Candy Motorsports and made mention of the 4 cars and supplied their Rego numbers. The owner know 2 of their cars and will enquire.

I'm not too sure about the suby, but the supra had legitimately thought of this as a car meet, so he moved his car as soon as he realised.

Lessons have definitely been noted for the next event, but all in all, these were only minor issues which did not impact the event overall.

I slept for 15 hours yesterday and I'm still in Zombie mode haha.

Was great to meet you Mike! Location and quality of cars was right up there. Weather wasn't too bad to be honest, it was kinda warm then kinda cold...repeat. I don't mind the overcast either, cos photos tend to look better rather than a really sunny day and you have to deal with reflections.

Thanks for coming up and saying hello Eric, sorry couldn't chat for long my friend was waiting for me. Was cool to finally meet Manny and Ray too, would have liked to have chatted with all you guys more. Definitely next time I'm in Melbourne

Had some drama on the why home Rear driver tyre got a puncture, had to call out RAA cos my friend who had my jack went back to Adelaide the day before. Also, realized one of my exhaust hangers broke...dunno how that happened. But the car show made it all worthwhile and being able to meet a few of you guys in person...oh, and taking home a trophy was cool too

I was just wondering.. how do you drive on those wheels. I couldn't get a sheet of 80 gsm paper in the tyre gap!

Cheers Manny. Yep, keen to make it down to the next event. I think you've inspired me to put some aero on my car. I'm usually pretty fussy with things like this, but I think I wanna add at least a bit of aero.

Thanks man! Yeah the rear gap is really small now, it used to be a few mm's more...but I just had my rear fenders re-sealed and when they did it, they made the fender a few mm's thicker...so now the rears lightly rub over bumps. Which is a bit annoying, cos it didn't used to.
