EU2 = not a tune. There is no power gain.

And I'd like to see this dyno.

Thread jacking...

Im running EU2 with headers (Im in NC as well). Very noticeable increase, especially top gear/full throttle. Only problem is my inspection ran out over a year ago. I dont have a check engine light but the car will not pass the readiness test for SAP and post cat 02's. Is the AA tune my only option?

33 horse gain from ebay headers and a tune??? Are you sure??? What were the correction factors on that dyno??

I am not saying it's not possible, I'm saying it's not probable. They might have you leaned out to a point where you're going to see the connecting rod through the piston. If those numbers are true, be careful.

I need to brush up on the NC laws before installing my headers I see.

Will an 02 sim allow it to pass?

It is essentially not looking for the rear o2 sensors so a sim will not help.

Are you serious? Loool

It's very possible.. Just because you or a select other have not seen it, does not mean it's not possible. Many members and many people who do not care to post on the fourms see similar power gains as well. Have you seen the stock manifolds and after market headers side my side? You'll then notice how much restrictions is caused by the stock manifolds.

As some of you seem to forget, aside from your ignorance, an engine is basically an air pump, more air in and more air out means more combustion, more combustion means more power. How do you think F/I works? More air in, more air in more air out. More power.

So with this said, it's very possible to throw on headers and with a proper tune to make 25-35hp by removing restrictions. Depending on the motor of course.

Oh and on another note... Did you know a 24v cummins diesel truck can make an additional 150-200hp on a off the shelf tune? Don't believe me? Look it up, do some research. A properly tuned engine can make a noticible increase in power.
