City 19-21 around 30MPH. Sucks, not sure if its the 3.46 diff / dinan tube intake. Have done plenty of maintenance. Just changed to Nitto Motivo's from DWS Continentals.

19.7 MPG mix of highway/heavy city driving. Go from center city philadelphia to south jersey and pure city traffic during the weekends. Hess 93 gas.

My '04 M54 5MT is getting at best 24 and at worst 21. The bride insists on the high octane so who am I to argue. I am in Florida where the temperature ranges from 55 overnight to 84 during the day. It is cold overnight but don't feel sorry for me. My '02 e39 M54 5MT I have had since new with now 173k on the clock can get 32 on a longer highway trip if I keep it under 75 and usually averages 27mpg. Wondering why.

Go Orange! Yeah. I was pleasantly suprised at my mileage. I live north of Utica. Mostly 30 and 55mph roads out my way with one stoplight towns. Many hills though. Spend most time on thruway going all over NY for work.
Id guess our main difference in mileage comes from engine size? And I drive conservatively.
