SAT NAV removal is too frustrating

When I look up how to remove it on my 2004 xi all I get is a picture, some words, and nonsense. I really wanna instal this aux cable by this summer and I still haven't. Any removal videos I find are not clear walkthroughs. Someone please help

+1 on posting to the audio section and you can also search BAV Auto's DIY You Tube Videos, they may have a completely video on re-moving and re-installing.

The radio for the nav system is in the trunk not in the dash like the non nav ones. The dash monitor is just a screen with CD/tape player, that's it. So just FYI, the standard aux in cable won't work and it won't matter if your remove the screen from the dash or not.

You need the aux cable (I bought the wrong one at first) for the Nav unit, but it does go behind the unit in the dash. Search YouTube or here for videos. The secret is two metal fingernail files (Walmart) and to get the screen to stay open and pull the fuse.

In my 2004 M3 with navigation the aux (3.5mm input) cable adapter went behind the main screen. Its a pain to remove the first time but once you get it you'll be able to do it again without much trouble.
