BB Gen3 headers sound video inside

Got the BB gen3 headers on my car last Saturday! took me around 9hrs to get the job done (i had access to lift) *i am slow I know. but the headers are PITA to install. The 16 bolts on the head, I still haven't got 3 bolts properly tightened! but somehow there seems not much leak.

You can feel how freely it revs and definitely feel the extra torque.

It sounds perfect according to me. No difference while start-up or driving around the city with rpm below 4500rpm , you will never know you have headers, but 1s it goes above 4500rpm, it sounds raspy and loud which is nice and pleasant i would say!

video!

Sounds nice... but it's unfortunate that it was such a PITA to install. Thought these are being marketed as perfect fitment. Curious: Are you driving around with your Service Engine light on now, or were you able to code the car to not show that?

Will the Eurocharged tuning update the software to negate the CEL? 246bhp with that software upgrade sounds delicious!! I know Active Autowerke says their software upgrade rids the CEL.

Yikes! But if it were me.. I'd probably break open the piggy bank for that cuz knowing myself, the CEL would just bother me (in an OCD kinda way) and freak the Mrs out every time she sees it.

Other option is EU2 tune, definitely cheaper but lacks the gains of a eurocharged tune

Ya I know, mine was sitting for a month before I finally decided to put it in myself.

Eu2 tune is only for MS43 DMEs, both mine and branchtwenty1's is a MS45.1 DME (looking at his car's MY), so no luck there.

Ya acceleration videos I can make during the weekend, I will try to post them later
