E36 Price Check

Good afternoon!

Ever since buying my first BMW in December of last year, I really have the bug!

I'd love to get myself a manual, E36 Coupe and I'm scouring craigslist daily.

This one has shown up on my local CL within the last 24 hours. It meets all my perquisites except the color...not a fan of the purple. There are no pictures of the interior either which could be a red flag.

All in all...what do you think the value of this car is? Is his asking price in the ballpark?

TIA,
CV

That car has been properly cared for and modded. Assuming it drives well and has no problematic underlying issues, it gets my vote of approval. Buy it. Now. He's actually asking too little for that car.

Mods...

Can you please delete my original post? I realized that I posted in the wrong forum and the "delete post" function is not available to me.

Thank you and I apologize for posting inappropriately.

Thanks for your quick reply. I'm going to see if he can send me some pix of the interior.

Update...

I emailed the seller yesterday afternoon and he got back to me late last night. He's going to text me some pictures of the interior. He says that some of the interior panels are coming unglued. I know this is common for these modles but I'm curious as to how bad it is. May be a deal breaker for me since I don't plan on stripping the car down and making into a track day vehicle. I would like to use it as daily driver and really dont want a tattered interior.

We'll see!

Update 2...

The seller has updated the CL ad with pictures of the interior. The seats look like they are in fantastic condition. The seller has also raised his asking price by a G!

Yes...thanks. I passed on the coupe as I've decided to look for one that splits the difference between a complete basket case and the pristine example that this one was. Also, as I alluded to in my earlier post, the Technoviolet purple was just too much for me.
