My Ride: 03 330i, 3 e24's,
need some help with window regulator install

Hey guys, I'm attempting my first window regulator install on my '03 330i, right front window. Got the old, broken regulator almost out and the front arm is hung up on something - It won't move toward the rear so I can pull it out, rear arm came out with no problem. Something is preventing the front arm from moving, other than up and down an inch or so. I can't see what the problem is and after screwing around for 3 hrs trying to get it old regulator out, I just had to walk away for awhile. Has anybody else had this problem?? Any tips appreciated.

My Ride: 2000 323i no sunroof
Try tapping the actual door support with a rubber mallet, my regulator had the screws wedge themselves pretty tight against both sides of the inner door and get stuck, window regulators suck, and they seem to be the most common failure on these cars.. Easy fix, just a major pain in the ass..
