What can you tell me about Rossi?

I just bought a Rossi R46202, it was used (but in new condition) and I got it cheap. I read a bunch of reviews and I didn't find any bad reviews. Most people seemed to like it, except for the trigger. Gun people that I know locally aren't big fans of Rossi though.

Out of my element on this one, but it is a revolver. Not too much to go wrong I think, but not really sure.

I've looked at and examined that Rossi very closely many times when I see it at a shop. Reason being, is that it looks identical to a S&W I bought my wife years ago to carry in her purse or keep on nightstand. I've never shot the Rossi, but have put an easy 2,000 rounds through the S&W, my guess is they would handle nearly identical as they are really similar(in fact I cant really find much difference between them, and suspect Rossi/Taurus cloned the S&W J when they made it). It's a wrist breaker with 357 ammo thats for sure. i usually shoot 38 when taking it out fun shooting. i keep it loaded with 357 when wife uses, figurin if she couldnt hit anyone on 1st shot it should would scare the hell out of them and they wouldnt stand around to try missin a 2nd.
Personally I think it's a nice price gun, not sure what you paid for it, but the Rossis I've seen like that were about $380-$400 range, which I think is a great price. Only issue I've heard is firing pin breaking(dunno if those were early release hiccups or still exist). I think you'll be happy with it. I tried carrying the S&W one day, and man it just weighs a ton loaded, so I couldnt see it for CC myself, but would be great to have in the glove box.

Here's a pic of mine..............

BrazTech owns both Rossi and Taurus. That's why you see designs that copy other designs. That's kind of their thing. Just with lower prices and cheaper components.

Thanks for the quick review! I bought the Rossi for $200, so if $380 is a great price then I got a steal! I have it loaded with .357 and keep it in the night stand

Also, I really liked that it's a 6 shooter, not 5.

Well keep in mind thats BRAND NEW price, like a car as soon as ya drive it off the lot, or in this case fire a shot, it's used. I'd say $200 is a steal on that gun!! Enjoy it!!
