**S-DISC@shockdisc.com** NEW PRODUCT for ADJ. SHOCKS!

S-DISC - adjustable shock indicator

I am happy to introduce the S-DISC for your Adjustable Shocks. The S-DISC is stainless steel visual indicator for the top of your shocks. The current version, the "Series 1" was developed for the BMW E46 M3 with Koni Single Adjustable Shocks (Yellow/Sport). I know that it will fit other BMWs and am in the process of confirming this. I look forward to working with other car enthusiasts to bring the S-DISC to as many applications as possible. If there are members in the Socal area that have Koni S/A (and possibly D/A) and would like to contribute to this new product, get in touch with me. I'd love to meet up with you and /or other BMW enthusiasts.

See the:
http://shockdisc.com/
for more info, description and sales of the product

This looks really cool! I'm definitely getting it if I ever get new suspension! Great idea Rob!

Clever gadget. So looks like this will work with the front struts only. Is there anything planned for the rear shocks?

sFunny you should ask...as a design problem its a much bigger deal...Let me ask ya would you buy a special tool that make it easier and more intuitive to adjust, BUT you still had to jack your car up, support it with jack stands and unscrew the bottom bolt and could leave the top attached? Say it took as long to do as an oil change? Would ya pay $50...I'm seeing if people are interested.
Thanks Rob

I'm no suspension expert, but I imagine that I would just leave the rears on a neutral setting and adjust the fronts according to what I want because they make a bigger difference.

Have you made a product to indicate which end of the adjustment knob/tab points to the hash marks on the washer? Because there really is no way of telling since it's symmetrical and absent of any markings. Perhaps something that semi-permanently stays on the shock shaft and points at the desired hash mark. Might add some value to your product.

Marking the tab with a sharpie as suggested seems like a budget solution to an otherwise expensive product (for what it is). If you're going to do that, you might as well buy 2 (or 4) fender washers for 80 cents, mark them up with hash marks yourself (or etch with a razor blade) and save ~$33
